Watercolor has meant for me the ideal medium to express what the spirit cannot do through words. To every place I travel, I carry with me pigments, paper, and brushes, since there will always be a place that awakens in me love and respect for this life.
Murals
The mural is both the beginning and the outcome. The beginning being the product of an idea that was born in the mind, possibly processed with sketches, or possibly the idea jumped directly to the wall. The outcome is the awakening of the idea in the mind of the viewer.
My training as an architect gave me the knowledge about the technique of drawing, geometry, and the apparent movement of the Sun. For me, sketching is simply playing with pencil, paper, and shadows.
